Founder & Lead Instructor

With over 17 years of experience riding and teaching on the Salvadoran coast, Cristian founded El Palmarcito Surf School to share his passion for the ocean safely and authentically. Known for his clear instruction and patient approach, he ensures every student feels confident, safe, and ready to catch their best waves.

Carlos Abarca

A passionate local surfer with 25 years of wave-riding experience, Carlos brings high energy, deep ocean knowledge, and technical precision to every lesson. He specializes in reading sea conditions and helping students of all levels master their technique while having an unforgettable time in the water.

Edwin Duarte

Surf instructor

Bringing a fresh energy to the team, Edwin has over 10 years of experience surfing these waves. Though younger, his deep ocean skills, dedication, and patient teaching style make him a natural instructor. He excels at helping beginners build confidence and making every session fun, smooth, and safe.
